Dear Sir,
kindly asking about your product Mavala Stop for nail biting for children , my son is 2 years old and has GSPD ,treat his thumbs with mavala stop will affect his GSPD or not.
regards
Sorry we did not see your inquiry before this.
We do not recommend Stop for children under 3 years old, because their taste buds are not fully developed
under that age, and therefore the bitter taste would not have any effect, and the product would not work.
As far as GSPD, that is an issue you should take up with your doctor, after she is 3, and ready to use the product.
You can always contact us for all the ingredients to show the doctor.
Hi there,
My daughter is 18 months old and constantly puts fore finger and middle finger in her mouth. Will using Mavala stop have any side effects on her? Will it help to use Mavala stop on a child less than 3 years? What are the consequences? Thanks…
Sorry we did not see your question before this.
The reason Mavala does not recommend Stop for children under 3 years of age, is simply
because children under 3 do not have taste buds that are fully developed, and therefore,
the very bitter taste, which makes the product so effective, would not work. Better to wait
until the child is at least 3 years old.
Can you advise where to find mavala stop at a store front retailer?
Sorry we did not see your question before this.
Hard to give specific store locations without first knowing your city and state.
Hope by now you have found a good source. If not you can find Mavala Stop on ulta.com
I have a 10 year old autistic daughter that is constantally putting her hands in her mouth. Do you recommend your product to stop this type of behavior?
Hello, and thank you for your inquiry regarding Mavala Stop.
There is no question that Mavala Stop, with it’s extremely bitter taste,
works well to break the nail biting and thumb sucking habits of its users.
The question you ask concerning your daughter is difficult for us to answer,
as it is outside the realm of our nail problem solving experience.
We suggest that you discuss the situation with her doctor, advising him, that the
product is very bitter, and asking him what he thinks, as the experience could
be traumatic.
We are sorry that we do not have a more definitive answer, but we do think our
advise is correct.
Best regards,
Mavala
